                           Is It OK to Lie?

Do you think it is okay to lie? If you make up one lie, it'll be hard to keep up with that lie. One small lie can lead up to more small lies and how will you keep track of that? Currently, the issue is whether lying is okay or not. Lying is not okay because you won;t be able to keep track of it, one small lie can lead up to many small lies or even one humongous lie, and friendships depend on honesty.
It is not okay to lie because you won't be able to keep track of it. Say you said that your cousin is Justin Bieber. They probably won't believe you. I f you tell them that you are going on a trip to hang out with Justin Bieber they will not believe you. What if they show up to see if what you said was true or not? Will they discover the truth? Then your friendship will fall apart because the friendship will be based on lies.
Another idea is that one small lie can lead to many small lie or even one big lie. This is because you have to keep supporting that lie that you told someone. To support that lie you need to make up another lie, another, another, and so on. If you think about it there is no stop to lying.  Also, being honest can make the world a better place.
Lastly, friendships depends on honesty. Honesty is the opposite of lying, it's the truth. Do you really want to risk your friendship by lying? Say, for example, you tell your friend a lie because you don't know what to do, you might think that she is not going to find out. What if she does find out the truth? Will your friendship fail or will your friendship stay the way it already was? The bigger the lie the the more the damage to your friendhsip.

In conclusion, lying is not okay. Lying is not okay because you won't be able to keep track of it, one small lie can lead up to many small lies or 1 humongous lie, and friendships depend on honesty. I feel this way because lying is not a "healthy" way to act in a realationship of any kind. A quote that someone once said about lying was "I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you anymore."

I challenge you to find out more reasons why lying is not okay.
Why is lying not okay to teach to little children?

                   History of Fish

Most people have fish as a household pet. There are 25,000 known species of fish. All of the fish is divided into 3 main groups. The 3 main groups are jawless, the cartilaginous, and the bony fish. Anyways, fish need a bowl or a tank full of clean and freshwater water. You need to feed the fish you have at least once or twice a day.
I think that Fish is the mostly calm domesticated fish ever. This is important to readers because in case they are against getting a fish or two this might change your mind. Fish do not make any sounds at all,THE BEST THING EVER! Well, this is very important because you don't need to worry about the fish eating your homework, or going bathroom any where around the house so you don't have to potty train them. Another idea, is that when you go to school, or the mall, or a friends house, and etc. and no one else is home you don't have to worry about them ripping up the couch, eating the pillows,or scratching the walls.

Now I challenge you to find out more about fish and how they interact with other fish. This is why fish are the most easiest household pets.

           Why Does it Snow?

We all love when it snows. We like to build a snowman, have snowball fights, make snow angels, and etc..but do you know why and how it snows? We'll there are a lot of theories that show why and how it snows. There is one specific reason that I think is true. It snows in 98% of the states in the U.S.A. Can you guess what state it doesn't snow in? It doesn't snow in Florida.
Snow occurs when cold temperatures transform the water vapor in the atmosphere into a solid state of ice directly. This means that it doesn't first go through the liquid stage. When the temperature rises up again the snow melts back into liquid water. Also snow forms when water vapor condenses and freezes into ice crystals. Also, as the ice crystals fall from clouds, they melt and then refreeze. This creates larger ice crystals which produce fluffy snow.

                                 What is Snow?
Well snow is frozen precipitation formed from ice crystals within clouds. In cold climates, snow can compact and refreeze into ice, forming massive glaciers like as in Antarctica. Normally, snow falls in Winter. It might be produced in large quantities from moist air that is rapidly pushed to higher altitude, or from very moist air over large bodies of water.

What To Do In The Snow

Snow is usually annoying to adults because they have to shovel it and drive through it. Snow is fun to kids and winter Olympians. Snow is fun to kids because they can build snowmans, make snow angels, have snowball fights with friends, drink hot cocoa after playing in the freezing snow, etc. Snow is fun to winter olympians and other people who like to skiing, sledding, snowboarding, and snowmobiles. Snow is fun to a lot of people accept to adults who hate shovling and driving in the snow.

So now you know why, how, and what to do in the snow. I challenge you to find out why it doesn't snow in Florida and why it snows so much in the other states of the U.S.A. This is why it snows!

It's Not Just Fast Food Making U.S. Kids                                Obese

Do you like to eat fast food such as McDonald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Wendy;s, etc.? Well studies show that it's not just fast food that makes U.S. kids obese. For example, when kids are not eating fast food they are at home eating cookies, ice cream, chips, soda, frozen pizza. So, you can't really blame fast food on making kids obese. Researchers from the University of North Carolina led by nutrition professor Bobby Popkin studied this issue. They found that children who eat frequently at fast food restaurants tend to eat food that will make them fat or obese anyways. They do that when they are not eating at those restaurants.
I think that fast food is not the only reason why U.S. kids are overweight. For example, kids go home to cabinets full of unhealthy junk food. Junk food could possibly be the reason of making kids obese. This is important to readers because if kids stop eating junk food and limit when they should have fast food they won't be overweight anymore. This is why it is important for readers to know that it's not just fast food that makes U.S. kids fat.

So now you know that it is not only fast food that makes U.S. kids obese. I challenge you to find even more facts to support this idea. Visit http://newsela.com/articles/kids-diet/id/2471/ for more information.

  Can Wolves Be Tamed?

Do you ever wonder if you can tame a wolf? After all wolves are big dogs. Certain species of any animals are domesticated. Mean while others seem to remain wild all their lives. Scientifically wolves are called Canis Lupus. Canis is what gives us our common name for domesticated dogs: Canines. Wolves are a part of the dog family. In fact, they're the
largest members of the dog family.  Keep reading to find out if you can tame a wolf.

                       History of Wolves

Throughout history, wolves had been portrayed as wild beasts with spine-tingling howls. Although they rarely attack humans, most people consider them one of the most feared villains in all of nature. This is probably because they do regularly attack domestic animals. For example, wolves eat pets and livestock. Although, many types of wolves were ordinary all around the United States of America, diminished gradually in size, amount, or strength considerably. Due to hunting and loss of habitat,or shelter, wolves struggle to survive in the world today.
Because of the limited amount of some species of wolves, somewhere scientists have tried to strengthen their numbers by breeding them in captivity in zoos or animal reserves. This has lead some people to WONDER whether these wild creatures could be domesticated like the dogs that we are all familiar with. They're animals from the same family. Scientists have confirmed through genetic testing that wolves and domesticated dogs are remmarkably similar. Despite their similarities , though wolves are very difficult to domesticate.
With such a similar  genetic background scientists have long wondered why wolves tend to stay wild while dogs will gladly assume the role as the man's best friend. New research has given them some hints as the answer to the mysterious riddle. Kathryn Lord, an evolutionary biologists at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, believes the difference between wolves and dogs stems from their first sensory experiences and how they're socialized. Each animal goes through a short period of time called a socialization window.

                                  Conclusion

In conclusion, wolves are part of the dog family, therefore, wolves do have a chance of being tamed. After all, most dogs are domesticated so they can be tamed. Now I challenge you to find out if taming a wolf is a good idea. Studies show that taming a wolf is not impossible.
